Barbara Campbell Jordan says he used to lend people money, but he finally got tired of not getting repaid so he just left his farm and moved to Baltimore. At family gathering in May 2006, Gordon Kinsey said he thought that his Howes ancestor (meaning Singleton) moved from the eastern shore to Baltimore due to a dispute about money in the family. 16. Residence: 128 N Mount St, Baltimore. "Grandmother born 128 N Mount St, Balto. Her mother's parents lived there." Written on napkin from wedding of Kit and Mark, so probably this is Mary Joseph's own knowledge, and "grandmother" refers to Mary Joseph Agnes Kinsey. That means "her mother's parents" would refer to Singleton and Maria Howes. Since the Kinseys also lived on Mount St, perhaps this is how Mabel Howes met Cletus Kinsey. Since they were married in 1903, I should look for the Howes family on Mount Street in 1900 and 1910. 17. Residence: 207 N.
