1. Obituary, 13 Dec 2002. Bartialette Perry Lindley, 72, of 3066 Woody Store Road, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at South Fork Friends Church, Snow Camp, where she was a member, with the Rev. J. Rodney Powell and the Rev. Tim Strider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Chatham County, a former elder and member of the William Penn Sunday School class at her church and a member of Big Meadows Homemaker Extension Club and Chatham County Cancer Support Group. Surviving are husband, Garvin Lindley of the home; daughters, Sue Nelson, Brenda Szilvay, both of Siler City, Nina Jones of Bennett; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The family will be at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, Siler City, 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to the N.C. Blind Association, Division of Services for the Blind, Raleigh District Office, 309 Ashe Ave., Raleigh, N.C. 27606.
