(Special to Daily News) Siler City, Nov 6. -- Mrs. Mary Ella Brewer, 66, wife of Wiley Brewer and prominent and highly respected woman of her community, died at her home, Bennett, route two, this morning at 11:30 o'clock after an illness of several months.
She had long been a member of Fall Creek Baptist church at which the funeral service will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. J. C. Kidd, and Rev. C. E. Winslow. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brewer is survived, in addition to her husband, by 11 daughters, Mrs. E. S. Maness, Burlington; Mrs. S. W. Maness and Mrs. Graham Scott, both of Bennett; Mrs. P. L. Sizemore, Mrs. R. H. Blair and Mrs. Homer Hall, all of Siler City; Mrs. C. T. Williamson, Greensboro; Mrs. J. M. Gardner, and Mrs. R. B. Lambert, both of Bennett, and Misses Ella and Oma Brewer, of the homeplace; a son, W. C. Brewer, of Bennett; a sister, Mrs. Walter of Bennett; three half-sisters, Mrs. J. M. Councilman, Bonlee; Mrs. Frank Scott of Bear Creek, and Mrs. Minnie Neal, of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Lonnie Beal, High Point; Charlie Beal, of Bear Creek, and Tom Beal, of Goldston; and five half-brothers, George Beal and Sam Beal, of Bear Creek; Herbert Beal, Clinton; Newbie Beal, of Sanford, and Joe Beal, of Greensboro, and her step-mother, Mrs. C. R. Beal, of Bear Creek. Surviving also are 25 grandchildren.
