1. Obituary: Augusta Chronicle, 1 Mar 1936, Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, United States. 4699 Lambert G Sewell, 56, brother of Mrs. Lester F. Elliott, of Augusta, who died at his resident in Atlanta Friday morning after an extended illness, will be laid to rest here in Westover Memorial park this afternoon following funeral services at L. F. Elliott's residence, 2345 Kings Way, at 4:30 o'clock. The Rev. Carey T. Vinvant, pastor of the Hill Baptist church, will officiate.

Pallbearers will be T. J. Kearns, Hillary H. Mangum. Theo Pund, Pickens B. Ramsey, Albert D. D. Hemstreet and J. P Price.

Mr. Sewell, who resided in Augusta as a youth, left this city many years ago and since then he has been associated with the Florida East Coast railroad, with officers in Florida; passenger agent of the Santa Fe Railroad, with officers in San Francisco, and lately he had been connected with the Southern Tablet company, of Atlanta. He had resided in Atlanta 10 years.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge of San Francisco and took an active interest in railroad orders. He had visited in Augusta frequently and was well known here.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. J. M. Sewell, of Augusta; brother Carson M. Sewell, of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Lester F. Elliott, of Augusta; Mrs. T. C. Cain, of Lyons, Ga., and Mrs. DeWitt Mosely, of Plank City, Fla.
