1. Obituary, 9 Apr 2009. Frances Mann Lindley, 81, of 415 Silk Hope Road, Siler City, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Loves Creek Baptist Church, 1745 East 11th Siler City, NC 27344, Siler City, with Rev. Bob Boyd and Rev. J.R. Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lindley was born August 20, 1927, the daughter of James Moody and Julia (Haith) Mann. Mrs. Lindley was a native of Alamance County, a retired homemaker and a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Lindley was preceded in death by two brothers, J.O. Mann and Julius Mann and one sister, Fay Moore. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Lindley of the home and five sons, Ronnie Lindley of Snow Camp, N.C., Jerry Lindley of Bear Creek, N.C., Larry Lindley of Bynum, N.C., Barry Lindley of Staley, N.C., Russell Lindley of Siler City, N.C.; and ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, N.C., and at other times at the home of Russell Lindley, 451 Silk Hope Road, Siler City.
Frances married Marvin Ronald LINDLEY, son of John Percy LINDLEY and Lula GUTHRIE. (Marvin Ronald LINDLEY was born on 14 Jul 1925 in Chatham County, North Carolina, United States,4348 died on 21 Dec 2009 in Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, United States and was buried in Love's Creek Baptist Church, Chatham County, North Carolina, United States.)
