3. Obituary, 24 Apr 2011, Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, United States. 454 Sudie Lucille Weeks Honeycutt, 91, of Raleigh, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Lucille was born in Sampson County on April 21, 1919 to the late Benjamin Franklin Weeks and Sudie McKoy Weeks. Lucille retired in July 1981 after 30 years of service with the State of North Carolina working at Dorothea Dix Hospital and the NC Correctional Center for Women. She is survived by son, Tommy Rexford Honeycutt ( wife, Marsha Wall Honeycutt), daughter, Deborah Honeycutt Bennett ( husband, Shawn Bennett); grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Honeycutt ( wife, Tara), Melissa H. Wheeler, and Amber Nikole West, great grandchildren, Jason Honeycutt, Austin Wheeler, and Austin Wolfe, brother, Lloyd Weeks of Clinton. Many nieces and nephews who knew her as "Aunt Cille". In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Rexford Lyon Honeycutt, brothers, Paul Stacy, Bennie Elmond, John Sampson, William Arthur, and Tommie Rayford Weeks, sisters, Mary Rhodes Weeks, Kathleen Weeks Maynard and Midlena Weeks Averette; special aunt, Nora Weeks. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 2:00p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Dr. Charles Ray Ennis officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
