2. Appearance in Document, 9 Aug 1796, Sampson County, North Carolina, United States. The workers for a new road from Kill Peacock Swamp to the old road "near Gainey's" include Bartholomew Gainey's hands, Abraham, Elias, and Noel Gainey, all working under Bartholomew. (Sampson Co Court Minutes)
