1. Property, 4 Feb 1772. 1930 Abraham Teague had one known son, John. Abraham died without leaving a will, and the 640 acres on Abbotts Creek became the property of his son John per the following: "4 Feb 1772, on motion of Alexander Martin it is ordered by the court that John Teague have letter of Administration on the estate of Abraham Teague, deceased, John Teague having first qualified in open court according to law."

2. Story. John Teague, son of Abraham and Anna, b 4 Jan 1748/9 in Frederick Co, VA, d 15 Sep 1823 in NC. He married Martha Ledford (b 15 Apr 1754 in Rowan Co, NC, d 9 Sep 1828). (According to Teague Family Index on web at www.seankell.com/familytree/teague)
