Howell Greene, born about 1811, died March 1846 in Richmond Co, NC, son of William Greene and Jane Harris.

2. Appearance in Document, 1846, Montgomery County, North Carolina, United States. After the death of Howell Greene in spring 1846, his heirs (brother Robert Green, sister Jane Bowden, sister Priscilla Parker, and brother Claiborne Green's infant children Thomas and Howell) made a petition in Equity Court requesting that Howells land, 150 acres in Montgomery County, be sold and the proceeds divided among the heirs instead of having each heir receive a portion of the land. The infant children made their petition through their guardian Nathan T Bowden. Also mentions that Jane Bowden is wife of James Bowden, Priscilla Parker is wife of Garrett Parker, Claiborne Green is deceased, Thomas and Howell are the only children of Claiborne.
