The final report and settlement of the estate of Dr E D Mann is found in Alamance Co Clerk of Superior Court Records of Settlements, Vol 4, p378. The estate includes assets of $92.11 cash on hand, $80.00 Confederate Pension and Funeral Funds, $434.84 from sale of personal property, $310.87 from W W Company note and interest, $300 from War Saving Stamps, and a few other items. The claims against the assets include bills from H H Lindly for $10 for hauling corn, Beulah Mann for $85 for WSS refund, and others. The balance of the estate is $537.22, which is distribued equally amongst T N Mann, J Ira Mann, E W Mann (guardian of Dorthy Williamson), Beulah Mann, Mrs Laura M Tyson, W L Mann, E W Mann, Maude Mann, and Donna Lea. The last five transfer their shares of the estate to Beulah Mann. The settlement was submitted on 24 Aug 1923.
