bullet  Burial Notes:

A granddaughter of Joseph told Lester Allen that Joseph was buried in Cane Creek FBG, but the marker was not of permanent material and it shattered and crumbled away and the exact location is not now known.

There is now a modern marker at Cane Creek saying "Joseph Allen 1811 - 1881"
