Susana Teague is age 84, b Jun 1815, a widow, with 2 children [seems wrong, should be either 3 or 4], only 1 still living [presumably Priscilla, although Maria should be living also]. She can read and write. She is living with Franklin and Priscilla Stephens. She is Franklin's mother-in-law. (Alamance Co, Patterson Twp, ED 1, sheet 11, line 19)

8. Story. E-mail note from Martin Coble, MarcoNC@aol.com: A neighbor of mine has a copy of John Pike Jr.'s family bible. There is no mention of a Susanah Pike as a daughter of John and Mary Davidson Pike. But the little booklet on the Pike family that I got from the Quaker library in Guilford colllege does mention a "Susie" who married _____ Teague. There is no mention of an Elizatbeth either. The only daughter mentioned in the bible is Priscilla. The booklet gives Abigail as the only other daughter, she married Ira Hinshaw.
