2. Residence, After 31 Oct 1818, Lick Creek Mtg, Harrison County, Indiana Territory. 1128 Sarah Chambers moved from Spring Mtg, NC, to Lick Creek Mtg, Indiana Territory. She left Spring around 31 Oct 1818.

3. Residence, Oct 1818, Indiana, United States. Sarah Chambers moved to Indiana in October 1818 to spend her final years with her youngest son, Samuel. (posted at the Thompson Genforum by Ronald E. Johnson on 9 Apr 2000)

4. Residence, Oct 1818, Lick Creek, Harrison County, Indiana Territory. In the spring of 1811 Sarah's son Samuel Chambers moved to Indiana Territory, settling on Lick Creek, near Half Moon Springs. Sarah Chambers moved to Indiana in October 1818 to spend her final years with her youngest son.

5. Story. Sarah Thompson, daughter of James Thompson and Elizabeth Hadley, was born in Mill Creek Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware on September 29, 1744. She married May 21 1767, Samuel Chambers, son of Richard Chambers and Elinor Miller. Samuel was born January 8, 1742, in New Castle County, Pennsylvania. Children of Sarah and Samuel were: 1. Amy Chambers, b. Feb 5, 1768, d. ?, m. 1784 William Lindley, 2. Richard Chambers, b. Dec 18, 1769, d. Jun 6, 1773 a single person, 3. James Chambers, b. Jan 1, 1771, m. 1805 Elizabeth Hobbs, 4. Elizabeth Chambers, b. Jan 30, 1772, m. 1791 William Riley, 5. Hannah Chambers, b. Oct 8, 1774, 6. Grace Chambers, b. Jan 26, 1777, m. 1798 Owen Lindley, 7. Mary Chambers, b. March 1, 1779, 8. Sarah Chambers, b. Oct 27, 1781, m. 1802 Jacob Hadley, 9. Samuel Chambers II, b. Oct 20, 1783, m. 1805 Elenor Lindley. Samuel and Sarah relocated from New Castle County, Delaware, to Orange County, North Carolina, in 1767. It is possible they migrated south with James Thompson and Martha Chambers who arrived the same year. Samuel, wife Sarah, and daughter Amy were received on certificate at Cane Creek Monthly Meeting on December 5, 1767. Samuel died on May 11, 1809, in Orange County, North Carolina, two days after making out his will. The will was proved in August of 1809. Samuel left his son James $1, sons Samuel and William the land he had purchased from "John Railey", and named his daughters Mary Chambers, Elizabeth Railey, and Hannah and Grace Lindley.
