2. Appearance in Document, 13 Nov 1755, New Garden Mtg, Chester County, Pennsylvania Colony. 302 Wm Allen is in attendance at wedding of Joseph Allen and Deborah Hill.

7. Will, 22 Aug 1800, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. 2025 Will of William Allen, dated 8m-22-1800, in Chester Co, PA. Identifies him "of Londongrove Township ... Yeoman ..." It mentions wife Sarah, who receives "the dwelling house in which I now live", "all the rest arising from my half of the Grist-Mill and Sawmill", son John who receives "all that ninety four acre tract of land Situate in the Township of Newgardn and adjoining on the East Side the Sixty three acre tract on which I now live (excepting a priviledge to my son William in the Limestone Quarry)", daughter Jane Cloud, son William who receives "all the remaining part of the Sixty three acre tract ... also an adjoining tract on the west side of the sd Sixty three acres containing Sixty Eight acres, also twelve acres of wood land", son Ellis who receives "a certain tract of land Situate in Franklin Township Fayette County containing three hundred and ninety nine acres and three quarters". A codicil is dated 27-5m-1802. The will is proved 11 April 1806. Will book L, p135.
